My Nan keeps buying my little brothers presents off here. It’s not all that bad really, delivery is fast (even at Christmas) and it’s got a wide range of stuff,  prices aren’t too bad either.

Buying Clothes/Earning money – Win win situation! May 30, 2008

Yes, I know, all I seem to be doing is advertising lately. But you know what? It’s good, because I can earn money from it, or get a discout from it. And! What I am doing is legal, as well as checking out all the sites that I do show on here, before testing them out myself to make sure that they aren’t going to go and rob you blind.

Anyhow, today we are onto clothes! Yay! Clothes. I love clothes. When I can afford them of course. Sigh.

Whenever I find myself shopping online, I am forever getting frustrated because there are so many sites that have so many different clothes on. Today’s site is SplitReason.

It is a particular favourite of mine, not only because some of the shirts are quite humorous, as well as being fairly cheap, with regular sizes, good postage and all that jazz – but the site also allows customers to earn gp (gold pieces) to buy clothes, get discounts etc. and that’s what this is all about. I can earn money, or get gp if you follow the links and take a look.

I think my favorite section of this site which defines it from all the other online clothing stores is that it allows the customers to also contribute to the designs, which I think is a brilliant idea, and I have put in a few idea’s myself.

Yay for kick-ass clothes!

Obviously, you follow that link. It’s really quite cool if you think about it. Not only can you buy stuff, but going along with the usual theme, you can EARN money which is something I am really getting into. I think I am doing more of these blogs on money lately due to the fact that there are so many fake sites out there that I think that it is unfair that people should be scammed constantly – it’s just sad.

Oh! Yes. The clothing. The have a vast, vast, vast! selection of clothing (t-shirts, hoodies, baby-tees) loads of variety. They do stickers, buttons, plushies, magnets, mugs. Just about everything you could possibly want.

They are linked with sites such as Explosm, who do the hilarious stickmen comics, as wellas CTRL + ALT + DEL webcomic (which is fabulous by the way) and so have plenty of their shirts.

They do all of their clothing in categories of Geek and Gamer, which is quite helpful, as well as in male and female.

Definitely worth a check out at least, I’d say. Try it. Here it is again (I know banners get annoying soo…)
Click here for teh fo’shizzle clothes. =D

Have fun, and do let me know what purchases you get, I’m currently buying some Explosm baby-tees. =]

More Money? May 18, 2008

So remember how in my last post, I mentioned a way of making money? Well of course there are hundreds of different ways of making money online. Admittedly, a lot of them involve either being handy with computing, or stocks. However, there is also a fair number of sites that do survey taking. For example, you spend an amount of time filling out a survey (between 5-20 minutes) and then send the information away. You are often either given a credit amount, half pennies, or entered into a large prize draw.

Referring once again to my last post, sites like Ciao do this, as well as the rather well known, and popular YouGov, you can find a range of surveys. Today, I will be focusing on the surveys at YouGov. I suggest that when filling in your profile, leave it as open minded as you can. If you are intending to make more money, perhaps alter the truth a bit. Admittedly, this is not all helpful for those that are running for the survey, however, they tend to prefer a teacher earning an average wage to unemployed.

At YouGov, you can earn a varying amount per survey, from £0.50p and £1. You will be sent your check when you reach £50. Please note, you do not have to fill in any account details for this one, and so some might consider this site a lot safer than others – you have nothing to lose in participating.

Upon filling in you profile, you automatically earn £1 which will be entered into your YouGov account and you will be on your way to filling out surveys. If you have the time to, check back every few hours onto your My YouGov page, and take a look to see if there are any surveys you can take part in. (Another plus, no email spam!)

I can definitely suggest taking a look at this site, even if it is just a small glance. All the money does add up fairly quickly, and once you have reached that £50, you will get your check. Due to the site’s terms and conditions it will not send out the checks if your account has less than £50 on it.

So go ahead, have fun and earn money too.

Money, money, money.. May 16, 2008

So I’ve not updated in a while, yes, I know. I’ve been pretty lazy you might say, but really, I’ve been pretty busy trying to write decent reviews, and doing loads of surveys.

You see, recently, I got into the old fad of online monkey making. Yeah. You know that thing where you go onto a site, decide it’s not as dodgy as all the other so-called money making sites, and take a whack? Well I had a look around, and I did find a good one. That is, after searching through a few very interesting sites. Needless to say, people aren’t very creative with their money making idea’s – on two different money making sites there was the exact same wording with the names changed and the reasons for suddenly wanting to give away/make money out of… It was kinda creepy really.

So, as I said taking a look a round (and by look, I mean real thorough searching, there are so many scammers out there) and I found this site, and I thought, huh, this is a bit weird, why would someone pay someone else to do a review? I mean, sure, a few and half pence isn’t much, but when it starts to add up, it’s not so bad.

And then there was the added competition feature; gosh I love that. There is a thing wherein with every review you post, or comment you add, etc. where you get points. I mean points! Whoever thought of that idea is a genius. At the moment, the money doesn’t matter, I need points, points, points. You can go up levels, and with every increase in level, you get a different colour circle by your name. And oh boy, you should have seen the reaction I had when I noticed that you got ‘Members who trust you:1′ I was like “Yay! I’m trusted! Woo!” It was a pretty good day.

They also do a prize awarding thing and a whole load of junk so that you can make money and the like. I found that their FAQ was really informative as well, I was rather surprised. I mean, yeah, it says to put in your bank details, but it’s not asking for your pin code or anything like that.

As I am sure you are wondering “What is the link to this site? I wanna check it out!” I shall instead give you the colourful banner which gets me 50p with every person who joins, so you know, join?

If you’re into the whole money making thing, and do have a bit more spare time, they have a few surveys going on pretty much all the time, but be warned, your email can get a tad spammed by it.

Also, do be careful when looking online to earn money, there is no ‘easy’ way of doing it. If you want to earn money, even if it is with reviews or surveys, you do have to put in a little time and effort, and it all becomes worth it at the end, I assure you. Have fun, and enjoy!
